What the assessment measures

  • Outcome accountability. Sales Reset makes salespeople increasingly accountable for the quality of outcome definitions they co-create with customers, not just for winning business. The Mastery Wheel defines the skills that make this possible.

  • Self-scored across the wheel. Each salesperson rates themselves against every competency through multiple-choice questions. The assessment takes about 15-20 minutes to complete.

  • An individual PDF report. Each participant receives their own scores, strengths and areas for development. Repeating the assessment every 90 days tracks change over time.

Who takes the assessment, and when?

  • The entry point for every programme. PILOT, EXTEND and SCALE all begin with the assessment, completed by every participant before the programme opens.

  • Primarily designed for frontline salespeople. Senior leaders may find it useful to take the assessment themselves to see what their team will experience.

How to take the self-assessment

  • You'll choose from multiple-choice answers to rate your skill level.

  • At the end, you'll receive your PDF report by email.
